We are happy to share a new article dedicated to Sciara: AlphabetCity.it has published an in-depth look at who we are, where we come from, and why pistachio is more than just an ingredient for us.
AlphabetCity is an independent online magazine that publishes articles on current affairs, lifestyle, food, health and culture.
They recently launched a column dedicated to Italian realities that stand out in their field, with the aim of enhancing them through dedicated informative articles. An initiative that we fully share, because we believe that talking about those who work with passion, quality and authenticity is the best way to tell about the best of our country.
In the piece authored by Daniela Devecchi, AlphabetCity traces our roots in Bronte (CT) and the link with the sciara, the volcanic land of Etna that gives our company its name.
It talks about our supply chain followed step by step in the Bronte plant, our "sober and concrete" reality, centered on raw materials and artisanal processing "without preservatives or dyes."
The article also emphasizes the care we devote to holiday desserts, such as panettone and colomba, accompanied by a jar of cream to be added at the moment, a choice that-as they write-"tells a philosophy of simplicity and respect for the product."
Finally, our "dual soul" is mentioned: products for individuals and professional semi-finished products for pastry chefs and restaurateurs-the same pistachio, the same method, different formats for different needs.
